Nvidia drivers failed to download 2nd monitor not working

I don't run anything weird and did not switch when it quit displaying. There was no weird change in program, or whatever. One day I was gaming on two, next it wouldn't work. Happened this way before. I do NOT know if a windows update was performed though. I also had Windows auto updating my Geforce Driver as well and am not sure if that ran without me seeing. Also, it definitely recognizes it. If I try to hit 'Display adapter properties for Display 1', nothing happens.

Unplug the Power to the DP monitor. Unplug the DP Monitor from the Computer. Wait minutes Plug in the DP monitor to the computer. Plug in the power to the DP Monitor. Turn on the DP monitor. Here's what is happening though: Monitor 1 not working using DP directly to graphics card. I unplugged the HDMI from graphics card monitor 2 is lost , and monitor 1 starts right up. I plug HDMI back in, and again monitor 1 goes down, and monitor 2 comes up. I switched from hz on monitor 1 to 60hz to check for issue, but nothing. So I must use an adapter in some fashion to run this monitor.
